Under the stunned stares of the entire Mu family, Su Wuji shamelessly bent down… and dusted off the hem of Mu Qianyu’s skirt.

Mu Qianyu subtly tugged her skirt back from his hands and smiled.

“You got here too early—I didn’t even get a chance to show off.”

She had prepared a whole arsenal of bargaining chips to deal with Mu Xudong. But before she could even draw one, Su Wuji had charged in like a wrecking ball, beating the master with brute force and chaos, so fast and wild that the pampered Mu family didn’t even know what hit them.

“Well,” she said, “want to let me show off now?”

Su Wuji clapped her on the shoulder, then pointed with his other hand at the grimy, dazed Mu family members. “Say a few words, if you want. And if anyone dares talk back, I’ll run them over with my car.”

Everyone he pointed at instinctively took a step back.

Some didn’t even dare meet his eyes, terrified this lawless madman might lock onto them next.

Mu Xudong roared, “Bodyguards! Grab him—grab him now!”

Su Wuji raised an eyebrow, amused. “You sure about that?”

Mu Xudong felt a sudden chill.

His son was still missing.

Just as he opened his mouth, a deep, grinding rumble shook the air from beyond the courtyard wall.

The stench of diesel was ten times stronger than before.

People turned toward the sound—dozens of excavator arms were rising above the wall like mechanical giants.

And then—

Boom!

The graceful grey-tiled wall shattered beneath their crushing weight.

Dust exploded everywhere, revealing the monstrous silhouettes of more than sixty excavators, engines roaring, steel jaws gleaming.

Mu Qianyu pressed a palm to her forehead.

“Next time, I’m not inviting you over. You’re about to level the entire Mu family estate.”

Su Wuji chuckled. “Truth is, I was gonna send fifty excavators to tear up your ancestral graveyard. But I figured that might be over the line… and unfair to you.”

You were going to dig up the Mu family graveyard?

Thanks for recognizing that’s too much.

Mu Qianyu eyed the colossal demolition fleet and sighed. “Much appreciated.”

“Don’t mention it,” Su Wuji said with a grin. “We’re family.”

At that moment, one of the larger excavators rumbled across the debris and came to a stop beside him.

The cab door opened.

A long-legged woman in a high-slit qipao stepped gracefully down.

It was Xiao Yinlei—the manager of Queen’s Bar, known as one of Su Wuji’s deadliest right-hand people alongside Xiao Pang.

She had been the one Xiao Pang called to summon nearly a hundred more excavators.

Mature didn’t even begin to cover her. She was sensual in the kind of way that dripped allure.

That skintight qipao wrapped around her figure like a second skin—her curves so lethal they sparked fantasies with a single glance.

But no one from the Mu family was ogling her.

Anyone who’d spent time in Linzhou’s nightlife scene knew: this woman was not someone you messed with.

When Su Wuji stayed out of petty disputes at Queen’s Bar, she was the one who stepped forward—those long legs and steely presence alone were enough to cow any lowlife into submission.

She clicked across the rubble in eight-centimeter heels and stopped at Su Wuji’s side.

“Boss, time was tight. I could only get sixty of the ninety-eight excavators you wanted. The rest are still on the way from the nearby counties.”

Su Wuji waved it off. “Forget the rest. Any more and these cowards might drop dead from fright.”

Xiao Yinlei glanced at Mu Qianyu. “Boss lady’s not hurt, is she?”

Su Wuji clapped his hands. “Nice! Love how that sounds. Remind me to give you a raise.”

Mu Qianyu: “…”

Mu Xudong finally clambered out of the koi pond, soaked head to toe. He pointed at Su Wuji, voice shaking with fury.

“Seize him! Don’t let this lunatic cause more chaos!”

The bodyguards hesitated but began to close in.

Su Wuji smirked at them, then flicked a hand toward Xiao Yinlei.

“Flatten the Mu estate.”

The sixty excavators roared to life, treads grinding, arms rising like the fists of giants.

The bodyguards froze in their tracks.

No one dared take another step.

Faced with this unrelenting demolition force, Mu Xudong felt a suffocating sense of powerlessness.

“Su Wuji,” he shouted, his voice trembling with rage, “hand over my son! Do that, and I’ll pretend none of this ever happened!”

Just then, an off-road vehicle burst through the torn-down wall and skidded to a stop in the center of the courtyard.

The door flung open, and Xiao Pang’s massive frame squeezed out.

He yanked someone else out with him, bandages wrapped tightly around their leg.

It was Mu Zhihui.

His face was covered in blood. One ear was gone, the other barely hanging on, blood gushing down his neck.

“Don’t pull, it hurts—it hurts! Please—” Mu Zhihui sobbed, clutching Xiao Pang’s arm.

But Xiao Pang’s grip was unrelenting, fingers locked on that ruined ear.

Su Wuji raised an eyebrow. “Xiao Pang, what’s the deal with you and his ear?”

Xiao Pang kept dragging the whimpering man. “Boss, you told me to bring him over by the ear.”

Mission objective: Follow orders. Every word counts.

“Ohhh,” Su Wuji drawled. “Well, it’s kinda gross to leave one ear hanging. Might as well tear the rest off.”

“No!” Mu Xudong shouted.

Too late.

A rip, followed by a gut-wrenching scream.

Mu Zhihui’s other ear tore free, landing in the dirt.

Mu Xudong trembled with rage, watching his son writhe in agony, his face a bloody mask.

The other bodyguards still didn’t dare move, afraid to provoke this lunatic into doing something even worse.

Mu Qianyu rubbed her temple. “Bit much with the gore, no?”

Su Wuji gave her a crooked grin. “You don’t like it? I’ll try to tone it down.”

She sighed, hand on forehead. “It’s fine. I’ll get used to it. You do you?”

Mu Xudong finally snapped.

“What the hell do you want, Su Wuji?!”

“Simple,” Su Wuji said. “I’m here to help Qianyu handle your lot.”

He planted a foot on Mu Zhihui’s chest and smiled.

“Isn’t your family trying to pick the next heir among the younger generation? I nominate Qianyu.”

He swept his gaze across the stunned Mu family elders.

“There’s no one more qualified to lead than her.”

Then, with deliberate cruelty, he ground his heel into Mu Zhihui’s bloodied face.

“I’ve said my piece,” Su Wuji said lightly. “Now—who votes in favor?

And who dares oppose?”

This is INK HUB, your translator speaking. Su Wuji doesn’t believe in playing nice.
