  3. Chapter 2 - Lick Her Back?

Truth be told, Mu Qianyu had already guessed what Su Wuji was about to say.
When a man offers a deal to a woman, it usually involves her body.
Sure enough, Su Wuji’s gaze drifted across her curves—back and forth, lingering before he let out a lecherous chuckle.
“If Miss Mu is willing to be my girlfriend… then you’d be mine. And if you’re mine, your Mu family’s business naturally becomes mine too.”
Mu Qianyu smiled and shook her head, giving the answer she’d prepared before walking through the door.
“I hear Young Master Su already has many girlfriends. I doubt you’d miss one more. But I do think… we could be great friends.”
Su Wuji wagged a finger, grinning slyly.
“But I never make friends with beautiful women.”
He snapped his fingers at Xiao Pang.
“See her out.”
They’d barely spoken for a few minutes, and he was already giving her the boot?
Mu Qianyu froze for a beat, then flashed a breezy, confident smile.
“You’re quite the character, Young Master Su. I’m sure we’ll meet again.”
That smile—bold and effortless—added a rare shimmer to the hazy glow of wine and neon. Like a sharp blade of moonlight cutting through the excess.
Su Wuji blinked.
Damn, she’s stunning.
He blurted it out without thinking.
“Beautiful enough to make me reconsider.”
Outside the bar, Mu Qianyu reached for the passenger door, but paused. She turned to Xiao Pang and asked casually,
“Mr. Pang, there are all kinds of rumors about your boss having women all over the place. So tell me… how many does he actually have?”
Xiao Pang was just about to respond when she cut in again, eyes twinkling,
“Of course, with your honest personality, I doubt you’d lie.”
The square-faced man didn’t blink.
“My boss told me not to say.”
Her curiosity sharpened like a blade catching light.
“Not to say what?”
Xiao Pang answered with military precision.
“Not to say that he’s still a virgin.”
Mu Qianyu burst into laughter. It took her a long moment to recover.
“I doubt anyone in Linzhou’s entire nightlife scene would believe that.”
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and added lightly,
“Actually, I’m not interested in Su Wuji’s so-called debauched lifestyle. And please, let him know—I’ll be back.”
Before the words even finished leaving her lips, her phone buzzed.
A message.
She opened it and read:
“Even if you won’t be my girlfriend, I’m still keeping that check you handed over.”
A beat later, the DJ’s voice blared from inside the bar.
“Tonight, Young Master Su made a killing! All drinks are on him!”
Boom!
A wave of cheers erupted through the open doors like thunder.
Mu Qianyu’s jaw tightened.
So he took the money and won’t even deliver?
Her composure cracked.
She stomped her heel against the curb and growled,
“That bastard Su Wuji is even worse than the rumors!”

At the top floor of Empress Bar was a private suite reserved for Su Wuji alone.
They said every girl who walked into that suite left the next morning with flushed cheeks and trembling knees.
And not alone. Never alone.
At least two at a time.
It was this very room that earned Su Wuji his reputation for vice and decadence.
Right now, the man himself was seated at a low table with three women, each flashing long, glowing legs under the bright lights.
He rubbed his hands together, eyes gleaming as he shuffled a set of mahjong tiles.
“Come on, come on! We keep going till sunrise! No one leaves till someone’s broke!”
The girls giggled and chirped.
Men like him—rich, generous, and terrible at cards—were a rare breed.
Every game they played earned them enough to buy a luxury handbag or two.
A few minutes later, the door slammed open.
Bang!
Xiao Pang’s tower-like figure squeezed into the room.
Su Wuji scowled.
“Xiao Pang! How many times have I told you—knock before you come in! What if I’m in the middle of something… indecent?”
One of the women covered her mouth and giggled.
“We’d love to do something indecent with you, Boss Su. But all you ever want to do is play mahjong.”
“Bunch of flirty little devils,” Su Wuji muttered.
Then he turned to Xiao Pang, expression sharpening.
“What did Mu Qianyu say before she left?”
Xiao Pang’s face was deadly serious.
“Boss, she said you took the money and didn’t deliver. That you’re even more of a bastard than the rumors say.”
The three women burst into peals of laughter.
Su Wuji’s face turned the color of an overcooked liver.
“She doesn’t know a damn thing! I’m not marrying into the Mu family, so why should I get involved in their mess? What’s in it for me?”
Irritated, he slapped a tile onto the table.
“Three Wan!”
“Hu!”
“Hu!”
“Hu!”
All three girls laid down their winning hands at once, cooing in unison.
“Thanks, Young Master Su! Three wins in one round!”
Black lines crept across Su Wuji’s forehead.
“My luck’s shit tonight. No more. I’m done. We’ll continue tomorrow.”
He tossed a stack of cash onto the table.
“Blame that damn girl Mu Qianyu. She ruined my mojo.”
Xiao Pang added helpfully,
“Boss, your card skills weren’t great to begin with.”
“…You’re getting a pay cut.”
After the women left giggling, each with a thick wad of bills, a new figure appeared at the door.
A soft knock. Then she walked in—long legs, tight cheongsam slit all the way to the hip.
She was voluptuous, mature, every movement dripping with temptation, like a ripe peach ready to burst with juice.
She spoke with calm professionalism.
“Boss, two things to report. First, your aunt, Su Chiyan, just called.”
Su Wuji immediately sat up straighter, wariness flashing in his eyes.
“What did that she-devil say?”
The woman in the cheongsam smiled.
“She said if you upset Mu Qianyu during the matchmaking date, she won’t cover the bar’s losses anymore. And she meant it.”
“What?! Why didn’t she say that earlier? Mu Qianyu’s already stormed off!”
Su Wuji slapped the mahjong table, face twisting in regret.
“So now I’ve gotta—what—lick her back? You think I’m shameless enough to do that?!”
Xiao Pang: “Boss, you are.”
Su Wuji shot him a glare, then sighed.
Yeah, I kind of am.
“Fine, fine. What’s the second thing?”
The woman stepped closer.
“We caught three punks snuffing powder in one of the private rooms. I came to ask how you want to handle it.”
“Same as always. Ruin them,” Su Wuji said, face darkening with a trace of cruelty. “But if you came all the way here for something that minor, there’s more to it.”
She gave a sly smile.
“All three are under eighteen. One of them… his name is Mu Zhihui.”
Su Wuji’s eyes lit up.
“Well, well… What a coincidence. Mu Qianyu’s dear little cousin, delivered straight to my hands.”
